With great pleasure we would like to inform that Stefan W. Czarniecki, MD, from HIFU Clinic Prostate Cancer Treatment Center participated in 7th edition of European Multidisciplinary Meeting on Urological Cancers (EMUC) and the meeting of Section of Urological Imaging (ESUI) in Barcelona, November 2015.
Since the first EMUC meeting in 2007 conferences have focused their attention on multidisciplinary cooperation in urologic oncology, which has become extremely important. Noteworthy are the words spoken by the Italian Professor Cora Sternberg, chairman of European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), who at the end of the 3-day conference said: “it is important not only that we meet here together and speak about extremely important subject, but that all participants in the discussion operate knowledge based on the same assumptions.”
7th EMUC conference and 4th ESUI meeting in cooperation with European Association of Urology (EAU) made a platform of professional discussion panels concerning health and needs of the patient. What is more, the main purpose of the conference was to assess the current practices in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer of the urogenital system.
The meeting brought together nearly 1,300 participants among which were doctors - urologists, oncologists and radiologists from more than 60 countries around the world.
