Dr Marcin Czarniecki was responsible for prostate cancer diagnostics at the HIFU CLINIC Prostate Cancer Treatment Centre, in cooperation with the Medicover Hospital in Warsaw. He currently works at the National Cancer Institute in the United States.
Dr Czarniecki graduated from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Warsaw.
He has is board certified by the European Board of Radiology. In the past he was also lecturer at the Medical University of Warsaw. He also worked at the Mater Dei hospital in Msida, Malta, and was a fellow at Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge, UK. and at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia.
Dr Marcin Czarniecki is interested in modern diagnostic methods, image fusion, computer assisted diagnosis, and IT solutions within radiology. He is particularly interested in prostate imaging during treatment planning, and imaging of prostate cancer in patients after radical treatment. Dr Marcin Czarniecki was trained in prostate cancer diagnostics in the The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States.
He holds certificates from the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS) and European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) in the diagnostic imaging of prostate cancer.
Dr Czarniecki speaks fluent Polish, English, French and Turkish.
