Dr Marcin Czarniecki is responsible for prostate cancer diagnostics at the HIFU CLINIC Prostate Cancer Treatment Centre, in cooperation with the Medicover Hospital in Warsaw, currently he works at National Cancer Institute in USA.
He gives lectures on radiology at the Medical University of Warsaw as his regular work; he also works at Mazowiecki Bródnowski Hospital. He also worked as a doctor at the Mater Dei hospital in Msida, Malta, and did internships at the Urology Department at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
Dr Czarniecki graduated from the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Warsaw, he also studied medicine at the Istanbul University, Turkey.
Currently, as one of the few radiology specialists in Poland, he is undergoing certification by the Royal College of Radiology, United Kingdom.
Dr Marcin Czarniecki is interested in modern methods for diagnostics imaging, image fusion, computer assisted diagnosis, and informatisation of radiology. He is particularly interested in prostate imaging during planning of treatment for cancer of this organ, and imaging of prostate cancer in patients after radical treatment. Dr Marcin Czarniecki was trained in prostate cancer diagnostics at the International Cancer Imaging Society in London, United Kingdom, at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, and in Chicago under RSNA 2014 w Chicago, under supervision of the top world uroradiologists, including Professor Jelle Barentsz from Holland, Dr Clare M. Tempany-Afdhal from Boston and Dr Anwar Padhani from London.
He holds International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS) and European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR) in the diagnostic imaging of prostate cancer. Dr Czarniecki speaks fluent Polish, English, French and Turkish.
