Antoniewicz, MD, PhD, an expert in the field of urology with over 20 years of international clinical experience. Artur A. Antoniewicz, MD, PhD has been the Head of the Urology Department of the Międzyleski Specialist Hospital in Warsaw for 7 years. Since 2011 he is the chairman of the European Board of Urology’s (EBU) Examination Committee situated in Holland. EBU’s primary goal is monitoring and standardizing urological training in Europe. EBU achieves its goals by:
- Setting and maintaining standards of education for training institutions
- Setting the standards of European urological education
- Setting the rules of accreditation for educational actions
- Systematic review of the quality of education at training institutions
The European Board of Urology (EBU) has been established over 20 years ago and the active realization of its goals can be seen across entire Europe. EBU’s actions and programs are well known and internationally acclaimed. Achieving the title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) is an internationally respected feat synonymous to acquiring the highest standard of urological knowledge.
Artur A. Antoniewicz, MD, PhD has gathered his rich clinical experience while working in leading urological facilities in Germany, France, Slovenia and Italy. In 1999 Artur A. Antoniewicz, MD, PhD acquired the prestigious title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). Since 2000 he is a member of the Polish Urological Association Science Committee. He is also an active member of the: Polish Urological Association, European Board of Urology, European Urological Association and Societe Internationale d’Urologie.
He is the author of many publication including: 144 scientific papers, 157 science reports and 49 lectures. He is fluent in English and German.
